the D u P o n t forest brevard, north carolina

I never realize how much I love something until I venture out & do the thing I haven't done in what seems to be an eon ago. That something is hiking. If you have never been to the DuPont national forest, in the first in flight state, it's well worth canceling the time stealer you normally succumb to on your day-to-day. We hiked to triple falls, high falls, bridal veil falls & ended up on lake julia. If you so choose there are plenty of leaf hunters, equestrians, mountain bikers, & old people to keep you company. {a few gems & peaches i thoroughly enjoyed conversing with} The forest, at one time was home to an x-ray film factory - i note because i think nurdy facts are intriguing.
